The city of Seoul is the capital of the nation of South Korea. The city house over 11 million inhabitants. Within the confines of this metropolis there exists a dichotomy that is all too common within the developing world. One segment of the city's population lives in affluence and is entertained by visiting expensive shopping malls and enjoying the luxuries common within the west. On the other hand, vast groups within the borders of the city live in utter poverty. It is this contradiction that is addressed within the following pages on this website.
